KITTENS
Our cats are bred for good health, termperment and beauty, in that order of priority. Kittens are raised in our household with constant attention and are never placed in new homes until they are at least 12 - 16 weeks old, by which time they are well socialized and protected by a series of vaccinations. We specialized in Chestnut and Ebony Silver Tabbies, but often have other colours and solids as well. Our kitten sales agreement requires new owners to neuter/spay and keep the kitten indoors. Oriental Shorthhairs are very social aand people oriented, they love to keep you company and almost demand you attention (in a very CHARMING way). These cats are highly intelligent and sensitvie, they have been known to sulk when scolded. They are active and inquisitive, don't expect an Oriental to sleep on the couch all day. These cats are devoted to their families and do not like to be left alone for long periods of time, they do be in pairs or with another companion animal (even a dog).
Because of their extremely short coat, Orientals have been successfully placed in home where the owners have had allergies, although this has worked out well in many case, therej is the odd exception to the rule.
On occassion, we will have young, retired show cats available to loving pet homes at a nominal fee (usually the cost of a spay or neuter).
